Kids of Migrants in the Housing Estates in French Cities : an uncertain future

SUMMARY

This chapter discusses how children of immigrants in France, even when achieving higher levels of education, are still experiencing high rates of unemployment and economic marginalization. It suggests that ethnicity alone may be responsible for this “glass ceiling” effect.
